Hi -- I'm an OL (& Ubuntu & Java, FWIW) newbie, and I've been having a
number of problems trying to setup OpenLaszlo.
I'm trying to follow the instructions on the site, but have been stumbling
over various blocks.
So far, I believe I have the Sun SDK 6 setup, and when I type "echo
$JAVA_HOME", I get "/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun".
However, when I try the command "sudo
./lps-4.2.0.1/Server/tomcat-5.0.24/bin/startup.sh", I get the following:
The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined
This environment variable is needed to run this program
I am rather perplexed!
Could anyone advise me on what this might be & how it could be fixed?
I'm very anxious to get going with OpenLaszlo!
Cheers,
Doug.
