Like many we always run Laszlo with Flash wmode="transparent" so we can have iframes (<html> tag) floating in front of it on FireFox. But Flash with wmode="transparent" will treat all keyboards as if they are US keyboards which causes serious problems for our users in most of the world.
Please take a minute to vote for the bug on Mozilla's Bugzilla https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347185. Same problem on Chrome and Safari - anyone have any connections in any of those development teams?
There is a nice workaround in Flash AS2 that can maybe be adopted to OpenLaszlo - http://analogcode.com/p/JSTextReader/ - thanks to the author Max for pointing it out
