Well, the current snapshots have issued a warning when using "setVisible" for 
a while allready. I updated my code with a simple search & replace when it 
started appearing, a quick and trivial refactoring job. We are currently in 
the "trasition period", where both APIs work and the old API issues a 
warning, giving time for everybody to update, with little fuss.

This is a perfectly sane by-the-book API change. Please go ahead with it (in 
the next major version only, of course). Laszlo currently has plenty of 
oddities that can only be justified by historical reasons. Any cleanup is 
greatly appreciated. Get out of the vicious circle of Microsoft-like backward 
compatibility.
I'm sure all Laszlo deployments out there have sufficient control over their 
code to do the (I repeat, trivial) update.
