Hello,
I saw several postings reporting on partial openlaszlo functionality
on a Pocket PC.
e.g.
http://weblog.openlaszlo.org/archives/2006/02/openlaszlo-running-on-a-cell-phone/
I tried several deployment targets on a cingular 8125 using IE and
Opera browsers as well and Flash Lite 2.1, but I couldn't come up with
a functional sample beyond a single button.
My question:
* is it possible today to deploy a simple application on window mobile
using either flash lite 2.1 or another target, such as JME or DHTML?
If so, where do I find more information?
Or is it better to use direct javascript with opera browser at this point?
Also:
* In lzc help I see that j2me is a valid target:
Output options:
--runtime=[swf7|swf8|swf9|dhtml|j2me|svg]
Compile to swf7, swf8, swf9, dhtml, j2me, svg
What's the level of support? Should I try it or is it too early?
This is what I get when compiling:
lzc "--runtime=j2me" clock-mytest.lzx
DHTMLWriter does not support importing fonts
DHTMLWriter does not support importing fonts
DHTMLWriter does not support importing fonts
and I get an output file:
clock-mytest.js
How do I use this output in javame? Are there instructions?

When I try running any of the apps in mobile examples directory
....\openlaszlo-4.0.3\examples\mobile
I get 'ActionScript Stuck' error from flash lite 2.1
Thanks,
Peter
