[Laszlo-user] Stuck at what ought to be an easy install step (JAVA_HOME)

I used the (non-free-as-in-speech) Sun JDK on my Debian box just before 
it was released under a free-er license.

I think there are a few Ubuntu or Debian folks on this list.
