[Laszlo-user] non-helpful error when trying to building trunk on WinXP/cygwin

Worth mentioning also, you notice I do *not* put my workspace under
c:\cygwin.
I keep everything outside of the cygwin tree, on the off chance that the
cygwin directory gets corrupted someplace and I need to reinstall it
(happened once).
Admittedly, if cygwin gets corrupted, the whole Windows machine is probably
going to go down in flames soon anyway.
