[Laszlo-user] How to tell if something gets 'de-replicated'?

Say I have a view subclass that has been passed to some method, how can that 
method watch to see if the data that backs the view gets deleted?

I presume the ondata event will tell me that something changed regarding it, 
but how do I go from there to working out that it was actually deleted?
