[Laszlo-user] images load slower than mp3's

3.4

The next test I'm going to do is to put a sniffer on the wire and time the
requests going out and the file data coming in.

Thanks,

Which version of Laszlo are you using? 3.x or 4.0?

Hi,

I have a view that loads a small jpeg file (3k) and another view that loads
an MP3 file of about 30k. Both are loaded dynamically at runtime. The
interesting thing is that the MP3's load about 10x faster than the jpegs.
Sometimes the jpeg image takes seconds to load while the MP3 starts playing
almost immediately.

Can anyone suggest why the difference in speed and can anyone suggest how to
speed up the jpeg loading.

Thanks,
