[Laszlo-user] sending and accessing foreign chars

Hi Henry,

I'm running the app in solo and the data is generated by a Ruby/Rails rest controller, so it never runs through the lz server. The ü character is visible when typed into a Flash text field, and also appears fine when browsing the MySQL records directly via Navicat. (Default encoding is set to utf-8 in the MySQL table.)

The problem seems to be with reading the data back in. For some reason the view stops looping over the records when it gets to the record including the ü. I attach the xml data generated by the controller, together with a simplified test case.
