We are planning to address a number of critical bugs discovered in 4.2  
in a 'point release' in the very near term.  This bugs are listed in  
Jira as targeted for 4.2.0.1.

Any developers making changes should continue to do all their work in  
trunk.  For bugs that are targeted for 4.2.0.1, I will integrate them  
over, once they have been resolved and approved for the point release.

If you are reporting new bugs, you should continue to report them  
against 4.2.  If you feel this is a critical bug that should be  
addressed in 4.2.0.1, you should write to laszlo-dev with your  
reasoning, but note:  this is a very targeted release and the criteria  
for inclusion in this release will be very strict.

We will continue to work on a 4.2.1 release to cover other bugs and  
further development.
