Not approved. You cut too many tags at the beginning of the section,  
and not enough
at the end, which makes the DocBook invalid and breaks the build.

I suggest reverting the change, and cutting this:

<section><title>The default font</title>
        <para>All Laszlo applications come bundled with a default  
font.  The name of this
...
        <para>Note that when you redefine the default font, the  
compiler no longer can automatically
        include the bold, italic, or bold italic styles for you.</para>

    <para/></section>

I'm not sure which version of the doc you're using, but it's chapter  
23, not 20.
