[Laszlo-dev] Big changeset coming

I have removed the deprecated global service object, and used Don's 
utility to modify the demos, examples, test, laszlo-explorer files.

This is a huge changeset; too many changes to be reviewed manually. I 
randomly checked some files and they look good. I'd like to get this 
checked in soon to avoid merge issues with other changes. I'll send 
out a changeset shortly.
