We used to.  We dropped support for it in version 4.  In version 3 you  
should be able to select swf6 for output. If you _really_ had to have  
swf6 support for version 4, you could probably re-enable it in the  
compiler.  I don't think the code paths have been eliminated, just  
commented out.  But I can't guarantee that.

But also, it was my impression that Flash Lite is now swf7, which I  
believe was the reason we dropped swf6 support.
