Yes, it could. It's easy for me to write the thing that walks the representation
in the compiler and serializes it, I just need to know what is the
preferred output format
for this, because I don't have any real world experience with using
DTD's for anything.
For example, is there something clever that can be done to represent
class inheritance in DTD's so the thing doesn't have to list every
possible tag that can be a child of each tag.
