In Flash 9, the Sprite class is basically a container object which
also has a graphics context so it
can draw vector shapes. There is a child sort of display object called
ImageLoader, which can load
swf's and jpeg,png,gif.
I'm implementing our kernel sprite class, LzSprite as a subclass of
flash.display.Sprite.
I'm planning to implement asset loading by having setSource
instantiate a flash.display.ImageLoader, and adding it as a child of
the LzSprite.
