OpenLaszlo is pleased to announce that version 3.0.2 is available for
download at http://www.openlaszlo.org/download/. This version is a patch
release, built upon OpenLaszlo 3.0, that primarily addresses a security
issue and SOAP deficiencies.

In OpenLaszlo 3.0, the LPS data server supported a "file" type of
request, which allowed the retrieval of an XML file, given a pathname,
from the server filesystem. This type of request has been translated to
http: by the server to prevent unwanted file access (see
http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-432) . The complete list of
bug fixes is as follows:

    * <http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-441>http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-283
      - can't pass array of xsd:strings in SOAP rpc call
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-441 - Type of arrayitem
      is sometimes set incorrectly in SOAP
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-432 - security "file:" fix
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-425 - rpc.invoke()
      should return sequence # in return object
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-424 - SOAP simple types
      not XML escaped when serialized to server
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-234 - SOAP schema
      forward base type references cause exception
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-408 - persistent
      connection agent stacktrace when sending messages
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-300 - SOAP only parses
      first service and port
    * http://www.openlaszlo.org/jira/browse/LPP-457 - WSDL stopped
      working in 3.0.2cr1

You can view a report of these bugs with greater detail here:

Please keep in mind that the new features that are under development can
be previewed in the nightly builds (also available at
http://www.openlaszlo.org/download/). The source code for the nightly
builds is available here: http://svn.openlaszlo.org/openlaszlo/.
