This was fixed by changes made by Henry, Tucker, and Max to the way initialization occurs. The example now runs the same way on swf and dhtml.

This app now looks the same in dhtml and swf. However, the explanation needs to be changed, because initialization order has changed. The box *is* red. ~~LPP-3237~~ tracks the documentation issue.
