We've made considerable progress in the Flash 9 runtime and compiler work. We now have the capability in both SWF8/DHTML and SWF9 to compile LZX classes directly to Javascript 2-style class declarations. A test application demonstrating user-defined classes, layouts, constraints, states, embedded JPG and SWF7 assets, and input text fields, is shown below.
